Hi friends!
Super glad you are reading again from us and if you are new here welcome to our little corner of super-wellness.
Today, we’re going to be discussing something I feel the world needs to take into consideration to bring healing from within and live a joyous and burden-free life: a second chance.
First, I must say that giving second chances doesn’t make you a weak person, and not giving second chances doesn’t make you less human. It’s quite difficult hearing people these days talk about second chances; maybe the world is indeed a broken place (just kidding).
Yes, I know that some people may have been through many hurtful and painful situations but it’s time to let go. You don’t necessarily have to get back with the person or situation, but a simple "I have forgiven you" text or call can ease your mind and slowly bring peace within your spirit.
If you feel you want some time before getting your feet back or you are totally uninterested, it's totally okay. Listen, the goal here is not to be cool with everything and anybody, but to find joy and peace within yourself and bloom.
“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past.
Isaiah 43:18(NIV)
Giving second chances is not always related to relationships with humans. It can be towards a specific area of your life, like going back to church, reuniting with your family, going back to school, or learning a skill you felt you were awful at.
A second chance does not ignore the fact that you were hurt. Life makes us learn from experiences and be reminded God gave us a second chance.
When you give someone a second chance, be prepared; they might mess it up, or you may mess it up. The relationship might not be as good as you planned, but it's a step in your healing journey with yourself.
